These should be (from the left) Jim Lassiter, Doug Staton, Marc Demitroff and Carlos Aviles - the cast from the - very strange - film "The Sailor & the Head"
I have the same photo and I knew Marcus' name (I love the Demitroff brothers...) and Jim (of course!). However, mine is flipped horizontally (weird) and I didn't have the names for the other two. Thanks, Guido!
My copy of this photo i also flipped horizontally and its not the only one. Could have happened in the old days when making the print by hand - or in modern times with a standard software.
Gawd, now looking into it, I've found other photos from what must be this movie. Marcus plays a sort of magician with a contraption with a mannequin's head in the bottom section, while a 'real' head is held in a chamber above. Jim and Carlos alternate between being the 'captive' head and an outside observer. Totally weird. Now, I have Carlos' surname as Aveliz for those photos and I think I also have it spelt Aviler, in some AMG shots where he's sporting at different times: a sailor's cap, and a centurian's helmet (while wielding a sword). I wonder whether it's all the same guy?
The name in the Grecian guild is Carlos Avilez (a picture with helmet and sword from a solo posing film). But the name in the film The Sailor and the head - when all four are presenting the name card - is Carlos Aviles.
If it is "The Sailor and the Head" the sailor was portrayed by Carlos Avilez, one of Mexico's finest bodybuilders in 1961. Larry Lamb (also known as Jim Lassiter) was the "head". I will look into this with the BMF. Thanks
