I'm pretty sure this isn't Dan(ny) De Whis. I have his name as Ace Cam (aka Jimmy Palmer). He posed with John Sohn and Chris Fallang in the unimaginatively named AMG film: Palmer, Sohn & Fallang. I have 28 more solo photos of him, 6 with Sohn & Fallang and 2 more with other unknown models.
For more definitive proof, Danny De Whis has a tattoo of a skull with a dagger embedded in it (!) on his left arm, near his elbow. Now, while you could argue it is obscured in this photo, all the other photos I have of Ace Cam/Jimmy Palmer never have this tattoo. Maybe you'll have to trust me... or wait for Cambria to weigh in 🤣🤣🤣
I think you're right. If I recall correctly, I got that name from the original source. He does look like Jimmy though, so I'm going to change it. I don't think it's AMG, though.
Brian E. and James are both correct. This is a photo of JIM PALMER which was his real name. This was NOT a Bob Mizer photo. The photo was taken by Star Physique Studio in Hollywood California in 1968. Star Physique Studio was only in business from 1965 to 1969. JIM PALMER did a lot of work for Star Physique Studio compared to the small amount he did for Bob Mizer of AMG.
