Three Sailors

Today I'm posting many of the AMG photos I recently found on that auction site.  I don't have any names for these models, but they still deserve a place on this blog.  Of course, if you have a name, put it in the comments.  I won't be the only one to appreciate your assistance.

First up is the only threesome for today.  (Calm down.)  For me, this one tells a story.  The guy on the left has a "Hello sailor!" look on his face while looking over the handsome guy in the middle.  The guy on the right is thinking "What's going on here?"  I think he'll soon find himself playing the third wheel.

  1. James: This photo looks like it might be fake. The Model on the far RIGHT looks like he was cut and pasted into the photo. There are noticeable black lines around the Model on the RIGHT and no lines around the 2 Models to the LEFT. Please Write down anything you see that is on the back of the photo in these auctions. It may be a clue as to which AMG Catalog the photo came from.

    1. Catalogue should be - again according to the AMG model directory - YN13 page 47

    2. BMF found it so it is not a fake photo. I just found out. Guido is correct.

  2. Thanks! I thought it might be fake. I like the guy in the center. BTW...I usually don't get a view of the reverse side of the photo.

  3. Sometimes on the EB__ listings of these classic Bob Mizer models there will be a number like K-32 or J-55. If there is please note it and write it down. It can help the BMF find the catalog the photo belongs to and identify the Models. They literally have thousands of photos.

  4. The names according to the AMG 1000 model directory (pg 58) for two of them are Rembrandt (should be the left one) and Carroll (right) - no first names, and the guy in the middel isn't part of the photo
In the book by Taschen there is a photo from the same set (with all three models) labeled "Rem Brandt and Friends" (page 382 of Vol1).
