It looks like Bob Kappel was shaved smooth down there.
I'm reposting the top photo to settle an issue. Brian thinks the photo may have been altered and sent me the second photo from the same shoot for my opinion.
Well, Kappel never posed nude for AMG, but he did go full nude for at least one other photographer. Technically, he's not nude in the top photo and I have posted other photos of him where it appeared he had shaved his pubic area. If it was altered, it was well done. Bottom line: I don't think it was altered. What do you think?

I know it's a common cry, but I really do think this is an altered image (edited to remove posing pouches). I have a very similar double-exposure shot of Bob Kappel and he's wearing posing pouches in that photo. I'll send it to you, James. Maybe you can post it and let your followers debate it?

ReplyDeleteThat was an original Bob Mizer photo of Bob Kappel and is exactly how it was produced according to the BMF.
ReplyDeleteOk! I had a look at my other photos of Bob, and yes indeed there are some where it's obvious he had to have shaved for the shot. In some of the shots, his pouch (or whatever draping material used) is pushed *very* low and his pubes would have shown, had he not shaved for those.
DeleteThere is a photo of BOB KAPPEL by Mizer that explains in the caption why BOB Shaved his pubes off. BOB KAPPEL posed for BOB Mizer at AMG at age 18 and he shaved all of his pubic Hair off so that his amazing abs could be seen and rated in muscle competitions when he was 18 to 21 years of age. BOB had to do this in order to compete in those competitions.
