Semper Fi! Walter Fife was definitely a Marine. Photographed in September 1949. He also posed for Spartan. He was from Los Angeles. He was supposedly one of the earliest casualties in the Korean War, dying just a few days short of his 24th birthday. He was never married. He is buried in the Inglewood Park Cemetery in Los Angeles (that huge park you can see as the plane lands at LAX).
