Three men in a shower.
I'm reposting this photo with two contact sheets from Cambria that give us the last names of these three models. We can't match the names with any of the models...at least, not yet. Heck! We still don't have their first names! Maybe this will remind someone who can enlighten us.
See the comments. Thanks to Cambria and Henry, we can safely say that the guy on the right is Charles Butler. The guy in the middle is either John Patterson or John Patterton. I'm using the latter because that's what is written on the contact sheets. The cute guy on the left might be Kelly Moore, but there is no record of him. Thanks guys!
Männlicher Spaß in Mizers Bad.
ReplyDeleteDer Mann auf der rechten Seite scheint jedoch besorgt über die Absichten seiner beiden Duschfreunde zu sein.

ReplyDeleteHouston, we have a problem. The tattoo tells me that's not Butler. He looks familiar, though. The guy on the right does not look like Moore.
DeleteJOHN PATTERSON was only in the 1965 AMG Catalog VO14. Mizer also spelled his Name as JOHN PATTERTON. JOHN only posed with CHARLES BUTLER and KELLY MOORE. To complicate things more there may have been 2 different KELLY MOORE models at AMG at the same time posing for Bob Mizer.
ReplyDeleteCHARLES BUTLER, JOHN PATTERSON/PATTERTON and a KELLY MOORE made the 1965 AMG b&w short Posing Pouch Wrestling film "Butler, Moore and Patterson". The film was probably never released.
After checking with the BMF I realize that the IDs for this Photo are just too complicated to make with any real certainty.
Charles Butler is on the right - he's a favorite of mine and I recognized him immediately, so I think Cambria's suggestion is a very good lead.
ReplyDeleteThanks Henry. The BMF was most sure that John Patterton/Patterson was in the center(Bob Mizer spelled it both ways). If you are sure that is Charles Butler on the RIGHT then that means MOORE was on the LEFT. What if MOORE was not one of the 2 Kelly Moores who modeled.?
ReplyDeleteI'm positive Butler is the one on the right. I'm not familiar with the other two models though. This could be a case of one guy coming in just for the single day. And if Bob didn't bother getting a full name (or his model release was lost over the years) we may never know for sure. One thing I do is try to compare images (also using same first or same last names, and I'm surprised how many matches I get both ways.) This was also around the time Mizer started using the name board/marquee in most sets. I've started to tag all my shots with the marquee so those images can be good reference files, but the only Moore I have is Adrian and he's not one of these guys.
