The Colt Look

Even if you're just vaguely familiar with Colt Studios, you know the look.  Men with big, muscular bodies beautifully illuminated and lightly oiled.  The fact they usually had a partial chubber going was practically a trademark.  It was a look we would see time and time again during Colt's heyday.

The model below is Leo Hooks (aka Merek Flint) who posed for Colt in the very early 1980s.

Lifeguard Steve

AlexYZ sent me the photo below and said it was his favorite photo of Steve Packard (aka, Dusty Dillon).  Well you have great taste Alex!  Ask me tomorrow and this could be my new favorite.

Got Wood?

I know there are a few Colt fans who visit this blog.  I'm counting on one of them to put a name to this stud.

Furry

This kind of reminds me of an AMG photo.  Anyone recognize this stud?

Cambria says this is Jason, by Colt in the early 70s.  Thanks!

Gorgeous Glutes

Rick Wolfmier by Colt.  For me, Rick was the gold standard when it came to butts.

Big Rick

Rick Wolfmier by Colt in the late 1970s.

He did a couple of films for that studio.  His one with Mike Betts was my first exposure to Colt on film.  Yeah, if you're into muscles, that was the one to see.  Oddly, their tan lines and pubic hairs were what really caught my attention.  To each his own.

What's Up?

I promise to smack myself upside the head when someone tells me this guy's name.  Bruce of LA, maybe?

I know where the primary focus will be in this photo, but take a look at that arm!  Geez!!

Well consider my head smacked good!   Dart tell us this is Vincent Kulinsky from Colt.

Muscles Galore!

Colt model Neal Kennit takes a popular bodybuilder pose.  I'm not 100% sure I got his name right.

Native Californian

Jean Claude by Colt.  He was much better known as bodybuilder Ric Drasin, one of the guys who made Muscle Beach an attraction in Venice, CA.

Ric passed away three years ago at the age of 76.  Read his Wikipedia page for a good synopsis of his interesting life.
