Happy Ending

Joe Reeve, who went by the name Tony Mancaruso when he posed for AMG in the early 80s, moved on to do some gay porn for several studios including Le Salon, Rollo and Colt.  Six feet tall and 170 pounds on a light furry frame, Joe had the body to compliment his handsome face. 

He showed up at Old Reliable in the early 1990s, long retired and then earning his living as a carpenter.  He was 37 years old by then, but still looked damn good.  According to David Hurles, Joe had earned a reputation in LA.  He was known as a helluva guy and a "great lover".  For me, it was nice to hear he was doing good and didn't fall into any of the vices that so often followed guys who took the porn route.

Joe Reeve by Colt.  AMG fans will remember he started there as Tony Mancaruso.  I found Tony to be attractive in those days.  Colt, to their credit, made Tony/Joe look like a 5 star stud.

The first time I saw him after his work at AMG was in the video Gold Rush Boys (Steve Scott, 1983) where he was paired up with Kurt Williams in a bedroom scene with a lot of kissing and foreplay.

In 1982 Joe showed up in Matt Sterling's very first porn video, Huge 1.  He was paired with blond twink Mark Hunter who had already performed in a few of Nova loops and usually played the bottom role in his scenes.  But in their scene it was Joe who bent over and took it like a man.  Hot scene. 

In 1991 Joe showed up at Old Reliable for a JO solo session.  He said he was 37 years old and working in carpentry.  When he was asked about his porn career, Joe demurred.  He said he didn't want to talk about those years.  Too bad, I'm sure he would have some good stories.  The color photos in this post are from that OR session.
