Ruff Rider

Another photo I found with no information.  AMG fans know him as Charlie Ruff.  Since he's holding a cigarette, I doubt it's from AMG.  Mizer was very much against models smoking on camera.

Family Jewels

Joe in Vancouver recently wrote to me expressing his appreciation of vintage models and how he wished the guys didn't cover up the "family jewels".  Joe was especially appreciative of the photos of Charlie Ruff I recently posted.

Well thanks for writing, Joe.  Here's a montage of a young Mr. Ruff au natural, as Bob Mizer would say.  This photo was a gift from Brian.  Enjoy!

Charlie in Color

Charlie Ruff at AMG.

I have these photos in black and white.  Thanks to Brian, I can now appreciate all of Charlie's charms in full color.

Yet Again

Charlie Ruff by Bobco.  Just when I think I've seen all the photos there are of this guy, another photo pops up.

Big Weapon

Well Look Who It Is!

Sometimes you find something when you weren't even looking.

Here's an early photo of Charlie Ruff.  It was the tattoos that made me realize it was him. He looks damn sexy in this photo that must have been taken before he showed up at AMG.

Charlie's Big Present

Charlie Ruff wishes you a Merry Christmas.

More of Charlie Ruff

The name tag says Charles Ruff, but he was usually referred to as Charlie.  We were told he was an ex-marine who stood a little over six feet tall.  These photos are from his only film at AMG in 1972 where he played a "Guy Friday".

I've posted photos of Charlie in the past, including a couple where he looked younger than these photos.  Mizer told us Charlie posed for other photographers.

Nice Surprise

I was looking at some photos in my archive folders when these two photos caught my eye.  They weren't labeled, but I recognized that tattoo immediately.  That's AMG model Charlie Ruff.  He looks younger than other photos I've seen of him, but that tattoo is the tell.

Mizer said Charlie posed for other photographers, but I've never seen him anywhere but AMG.

That's Mr. Ruff To You

An early AMG photo of Charles "Charlie" Ruff before he started using that apparatus to give him some amazing looking low hangers.
