Sky Dawson hit the gay porn market just as Falcon Studios was moving all of their new releases to that new technology that can be viewed in a video cassette recorder, or VCR.

Todd Baron hit the gay porn market right around the time the studios were moving to video, not film. 

See him in the Falcon video Style where he was in three of the four scenes.  I recall seeing his photos on the cover of several gay magazines during that time.

Josh Kincaid was the main character in Falcon's first feature film transferred to video in 1980.  The film was called Against The Rules and Josh played the coach -- a perennial gay fantasy character. 

At 6ft 1in tall carrying 190lbs on a blond, fuzzy frame, Josh gave a memorable performance in the locker room with Mac Turner.  At first, Mac doth protest too much when Josh makes his  move in the steamy shower, but then eagerly accepts Josh's overtures.

Michael Delfino by Falcon, circa 1975.  A popular performer from the pre-condom era who did a few loops for Falcon, Magnum Griffin and others. 

Oddly, the one thing I remember about this guy is how hot he looked in a scene were he was wearing a pair of faded jeans and no shirt.  It was that memorable.

Gordon Grant by unknown.  Due to his spectacularly well-illuminated crotch area, I'm guessing this photo is from that studio who's name rhymes with Bolt.  

At least thirty years ago, one of his directors (I don't recall which one) told an interesting story about Gordon.  I am unable to quote him, but the director told us Gordon was like a robot.  He'd come onto the set, get naked, get hard and perform.  It was like flipping a switch on this guy.  When he was done, the switch was turned off.  In at least one of his films Gordon showed up with a woman who stood off to the side of the set.  She spoke to no one.  When it was time for Gordon to do his thing, he walked over to her and they spoke quietly before he performed.  He nodded his head a few times as she spoke, never saying a word.  When she finished, she stepped a few feet away.  Gordon got undressed, got "ready" in a few seconds and started his scene with some unknown twink.  When he finished, he got dressed, walked over to his lady friend and they left the set.  Just like a robot. 

The director said the woman must have had some type of Svengali hold on him.  He listened  to her and then he performed.  And when the scene was over, he left.

Dick Fisk was one of the early gay porn stars from the dawn of the VHS era.  Born Frank Richard Fitts in Atlanta, Georgia on May 13, 1955, Dick became one of the most popular models in the Falcon stable of hot guys.  

Dick's breakout role came in the move The Other Side of Aspen 1 (Falcon, 1978) where he appeared in three of the four scenes.  It was the first Falcon title to be released on VHS and it was a huge seller.  That same year Dick also appeared in the third Falcon video release titled "Champs".  The video was heavily promoted in the gay rags (trust me) and it also became a huge hit. 

Sadly, Dick died in an automobile accident outside Atlanta on Halloween night in 1983.

Two Davids

David Seamore (tattoos) and David Hughes on the AMG mats in the late 1980s.  Both guys also posed for Old Reliable where Hughes took the name "Falcon".   David Seamore had a younger brother named Ron.  I need to find some pics of him, too.
