Ted "Rock" Hudson

Brian sent me a few more photos of Ted "Rock" Hudson who posed for AMG and Wyngate & Bevins in the early to mid 1960s.  

Here's a rule of thumb.  If Ted is wearing a pouch, it's AMG.  If he's naked and has some facial hair, it's W&B.  

Five of the Ten

Another group photo of half the cast of the film Ten at Africa.  From the left: Scoop Helentall, Tom King, Monte Hansen, Jimmy Carroll and Gary Barnhill.  

I originally thought this was a Wyngate & Bevins film -- and it very well might be -- although the distributor is listed as AMG.  The full title is listed as Ten at Africa USA.

That's Monte Hansen second from the right and Brian says that's Jimmy Carroll on the far right.  Second from the left is Scoop Helentall (aka Ron Farr) and third from the left is Bob Gypsy.  Cambria says this from the AMG film Ten at Africa.  I don't think Mizer took them there.  😉

I did a little more research.  Third from the right (blond) is Gary Barnhill.  Tom King is fourth from the right.  Cambria says fourth from the left is Tony Hunter. 

Ron Wallace -- Part 4 of 6

Ron also did several films for Wyngate & Bevins -- a film company that specialized in naked guys frolicking in the outdoors.  Here he is in a wheelbarrow being pushed by Jim Barckley.  That's Ray Robirds second from the left.   

Butch 3 of 3

I posted this photo a while back and Cambria helpfully identified this as Butch from DSI.  This was the photo that had me look at Butch in a whole new light.  A little older and beefier.  I had lust in my heart.  

I have no attribution for the next two photos, but I suspect they are also from DSI. 

I'm thinking maybe this one is from Milo.  Maybe.  

And finally, a group photo from the W&B film Eight Male Nudists.  Front row, from the left is Bob Zimmerman, Enrique Nieves and Jim Wayne.  Back row, from the left: John King, unknown, Butch Umbenhauer, Bob Jackson and Tommy Evans. 

Many thanks to Brian E. for completing my collection of Butch Umbenhauer photos.  Perhaps before this decade is over we'll have a name for the unknown model in the back row.  He showed up in a number of W&B films.

The guy of the right is AMG model Jim Barckley.  Here he is with an unknown model in what I believe is a still from a Wyngate & Bevins film.

I'm thinking this is a Wyngate & Bevins photo.  The guy standing third from the right looks familiar.  You'll notice there's another guy standing far right who wasn't included in the class photo.

Another shot from some Wyngate & Bevins film where naked guys run around outdoors.  I don't think I'll ever get a name for our hero in the center.

I think the two photos are of the same two models although one is in black and white.  I once thought this might be an AMG photo, but now I'm not so sure. 

Both Uncle Vic and jstrand say this is Wyngate & Bevins.  Good call!

Butch Pierce.  That was the name Sam Hunter used when he posed for Champion. 

Butch/Sam did a number of films for Wyngate & Bevins.

Yet another photo of the cast of Wyngate & Bevins film Eight Athletes where a group of guys enjoy the great outdoors in the nude. Thanks to Brian E. who helped identify many of these guys in the past, I have only one model who remains unidentified.

Eight Is Not Enough

From the Wyngate & Bevins film Eight Athletes released in 1967. 

The guys take a road trip to the desert and then wind up at the AMG pool.  On the far left is Jim Giussi.  The tall guy next to him is Jim Barckley.  That's Jerry Sullivan's butt in the center and next to him is Joe Iannini.  The guy on the far right is Tom Smith.

I'm guessing this is a photograph from Wyngate & Bevins promoting one of their "naked guys in the outdoors" films.

I'm convinced we will eventually get a name for the cutie who proudly displays his balancing skills.
