Actor / Model

Don Fuller outside the Moroccan Theatre where he starred in The Little Hut, directed by Richard Fontaine of RA Enterprises.

I don't know who took this frontal nude of Don.

From the left: Steve Wengryn, Don Fuller and, in the off chance you don't recognize that cute butt, Joe Leitel.

Don Fuller

Photographed by Bruce of LA.  Don did a number of sessions with Bruce.  I like the use of color and props in this one.  But, there is one problem...

See CinemaCapMan's comments below.  Someone replaced that beach ball with a disco ball.  Must have been in the 1970s.  😃

Visiting Photographer

Don Fuller relaxes in the sun on the AMG roof.

I believe this and several other photos of Don were taken by Chuck Renslow (bka Kris of Chicago) when he visited LA.

Some Call It Wrestling

I know I've posted many photos of Don Fuller and John Krivos in the past -- and I hope to get the opportunity to post many more.

Ever since I learned the two of them were roommates, I look at their photos from a different perspective.

Don Fuller

I don't have a studio name for this photo.  I know he posed for AMG and Bruce.  If I had to take a guess, I would say Bruce.

Prep Work

Kip Behar and Don Fuller in the Apollo film A Date With The Boys released in 1955.

The film was a behind the scenes look on how models prepare for a photo shoot.

Name That Butt!

Don Fuller by Bruce of LA.  Some would say this was his best side.

Physique Pictorial Vol. 7 No. 2 (Part 2 of 3)

Bob Bethea by Dave Martin.  The location almost looks like a studio background.

Bob De Grant was a big guy who was all football "through and through" -- although Mizer told us he was also a "graceful ballroom dancer."  I'm sure that made the ladies swoon. Photo by Ken Wallace of Hollywood.

Here's Don Fuller outside The Moroccan theatre where he was appearing in a play.  (More on that later.)  Mizer says Don exercised with AMG model Joe Leitel at the gym and they were also "batching together."  I think that means they were roommates.

Ed Houghton didn't think he had much to offer a physique photographer, but Ken Wallace of Hollywood thought otherwise.

Henry Stenecki did two posing films for Spectrum in Cincinnati.  For more of Henry, click his label.

Joe Mahaffey in a photo by MC Wood of Hollywood. Mizer lamented that whenever he would publish photos of models like Joe, bodybuilders would write him and ask why a skinny guy like this made the issue and they didn't. Mizer explained that some of his "feminine" readers liked guys who were slender, athletic and not just big muscles. Translation: some of my readers like twinks.

Rodney McDonald by MC Woods of Los Angeles.

Harold Reposer by Jim Hills of San Francisco. Mizer often promoted posing briefs and pouches like the one worn by this model that could be purchased through AMG. And if you're wondering if Mizer sold the actual briefs worn by the model, you're not the only one who wonders that.

Here Mizer promotes various fashion options to his readers using Joe Leitel, John Adams and Dave Wiler as models.

Fan Favorites

Don Fuller and John Krivos by Bruce of LA.

If I had to pick a favorite of the two, it would take me a long time to decide.

Beefy Don

Don Fuller on the AMG lot.  More than one source state this photo was taken by Kris of Chicago!
