On the Waterfront

I got this post wrong way back in 2019.  I thought it was from the AMG film Fishermen and the Hoods.  It's not.  I did correctly identify the two guys in the pool as Lou La Venture and Jim Lassiter.  The two guys with caps are the Demitroff brothers, Boris and Marcus. 

Brian got the names, CinemaCapMan clarified the information.  Guido says the film was called On The Waterfront.  Thanks guys!

Mizer told us these photos were taken when the two first met and they got along fine.  A few weeks later they had a big fight when Don called Jim a sissy -- a subject Jim was very sensitive about.  Mizer said Don was a con who would stop at nothing in a fight and would think nothing of swinging a 2x4 or a tire iron at his opponent.  We never learned if the argument ever got that far.  I doubt it.  Both of these guys did a lot of work at AMG.

Brian E. sent me the two photos below related to my posts regarding my first nudes of Jim Lassiter and Shan Daymore. As a bonus for me, that's Lou La Venture in the top photo on the left and that's now my first nude pic of Lou. 

In the second photo Lou is on the left again and Jim is on the right.  We weren't sure who the guy was in the middle, but I think I'll take a stab at it.  That's Shan Daymore.  Not to be cruel, but Shan was not what one would call heavy hung. 

I think both photos are from Mike Scott.

Brothers Boris and Marcus Demitroff join Lou La Venture and Jim Lassiter for a photo shoot on the AMG lot.  I don't think this is from a film because I'm fairly certain Marcus never did one. At least not for AMG. On a personal note, I think Boris looks great in this set. 

Found Treasure

The top photo in this post recently appeared over at Jerry's excellent blog VMM and my first thought was how much the guy on the left looked like AMG model Shan Daymore.  I've posted plenty of photos of Shan in the past, so I did some compare and contrast and thought my hunch was pretty much on spot.  I commented so on his blog and an anonymous reader added he thought the other guy was Jim Lassiter (aka, Larry Lamb).  The lightbulb went on over my head.  Yeah, he was right.  I also commented it was the first time I've seen either of the two sans posing pouch. I was almost right. Roughly two and a half years ago I posted one uncredited nude photo of Jim. 

Jerry commented this photo is from Mike Scott and the photographer was known to have had ties with Bob Mizer.  That makes sense and it makes me wonder if there are any more AMG models who tossed the pouch and posed for Mr. Scott.  Shan and Jim were active with AMG from approximately 1961 through 1963.  I can think of several models from that period I'd like to see au natural. 

I did a search for Shan Daymore photos and look what I found!  Two Milo photos of lovely Shan. (Of course it would be Milo.)  So I quickly went from zero nude photos of Shan, to three.  Nice.

For comparison, here's my only other nude photo of Jim.
