Porn Stars of the Past

Tom Hartung has just one XXX film title to his credit and it was a solo effort.  His photographs however, appeared in numerous print publications in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

That 70s Guy

Tony Crater from Target.  He made the cover and the centerfold of Mandate magazine in January, 1978.  Back then, I was infatuated with his brief tan line.

Samson

Brand by Target Studio, mid 1970s.

Brand did one film under the name Brahm van Zetten.  In 1974 he played Samson in Wakefield Poole's epic film Bible -- a softcore, straight porn flick with ummm... some unusual interpretations of biblical stories from the Old Testament.  The film critics were not kind to Mr. Poole's artistic vision, although (IMO) casting Brahm as Samson was spot on. Think Conan the Barbarian with some serious sex appeal.

Raging Bull

Bull Dozier was a beefy, masculine model who did a few films for Target in the late 1970s.  He was a very enthusiastic and versatile performer.

More Barry!

Barry Hoffman by Target Studio.  He started with Champion Studio as Jeff Reardon, but Target gave him the name Barry Hoffman and a star was born.

Barry Hoffman -- For The Ages

The model and porn star known as Barry Hoffman in a few pics spanning three decades.

Barry did his first posing session with Champion Studio in the mid 1960s.  He was called Jeff Reardon and was eighteen years old at the time.  The first pic is from his very first session at Champion.  The second photo is also from Champion, but a few years later.

The third photo is from Target Studios in the mid 1970s.  We were told this is where he did his first porn film and where he got the name Barry Hoffman.  Target told us he was one of their most popular models.

The last photo is from Old Reliable in 1983.  He returned a few times to that studio and did his last session there in the early 1990s.

If he's still around -- and I like to think he is -- Barry will turn 70 this year.
