I'm fairly certain this is Danny Hyde who posed for Kensington Road.  I have posted other photos of Mr. Hyde, but this is my first butt shot of him.  It's also my only color photo of him.

Let It Out

Steve Espie on the cover of Kensington Road.  The studio was created after the death of Bruce Bellas and was used to publish photos from his "private files".   OK, but Steve started his posing career with AMG around 1978 -- four years after Bruce's death.  

Kensington Road was the street where Bruce's home studio was located.

Those Socks

Hans Mueller by Kensington Road.  He was known for his generous endowment but the rear chassis looked pretty good, too. 

The socks were a nice addition.  He got his start at Nova where those athletic socks were practically de rigueur in the wardrobe department.  

Just Call Him Tony

Anthony Falco by Kensington Road in the mid-1980s.  I'm fairly certain Anthony did a couple of solo sessions for one of the B studios back then.  

Porn Stars of the Past

Kensington Road (Bruce of LA) called him Craig Holt, but he was far better known as adult film star Eric Ryan.  He was one of my favorite performers from the 1980s and he stayed busy that whole decade -- usually with a B list studio.

Sioux Honey

A few photos of yet another unknown blond model, but this one is from Bruce of LA or Kensington Road.  The shirt he's wearing says "Sioux Honey" and if you're wondering like I did it's an association in Sioux City, Iowa for the promotion and protection of local honey bees. 

If works for me because this guy sure does look like some corn fed Iowa beefcake.

Stern Not Sterns

The promiscuous Mike Stern who did a ton of work for AMG also found his was to other photographers to earn some cash.  Here he is for Bruce of LA (aka Kensington Road) showing off his semi-woody as he did some many times for Bob Mizer. 

Introducing Eric Ryan

Eric Ryan was yet another gay porn star who got his start in the early days of VHS.  I first saw him in the William Higgins (now classic) The Boys of Venice, released in 1979.  In the video's first scene, Eric and his screen partner (Derrick Stanton) are both wearing roller skates when they meet in a restroom on the beach.  Soon Derrick is bent over while Eric slides his big tool between his new friend's cheeks.  Both guys keep their skates on for the entire scene.  Eric also appeared in the final scene.  He goes home with the well-coiffed Guy DeSilva and this time it's Eric's turn to bend over and take the pickle.

Fred Orlando by Kensington Road.  One of the five Orlando brothers who graced the studios of several SoCal photographers back in the seventies and eighties.

In a promo brochure for his photos the editors told us (a little tongue in cheek) "Danny was a strikingly endowed model who would beat the stiffest of competition".
