John West

Two more photos of the hirsute John West wearing the "Smokey" chaps at AMG.  You may notice in the second photo, John's powerful butt caused a tear along a critical seam in the seat of his jeans.  Oh my!  Help me to the fainting couch!

Mr. West was a new discovery for me this year and he's now one my favorites from that era. 

More of John West -- Part 1 of 2

I recently posted some photos of John West to this blog after some help by follower Brian who provided me with a name.  Well it didn't me long to find some more of this handsome and hirsute man.  Here he is with the awesome John Krivos.  Although it looks like these may be from an AMG film, I can find no record of any film with Mr. West.  

My favorite photo in this series is the one where Krivos has his foot on West's butt while he has his boots changed.  You may notice, in some of these photos both guys look like they were not wearing the posing pouch in every photo.  And I would say, that's correct.  I'm guessing here, but I think Mizer was going for a little more realism in the photo.  A good example is the first photo in this post.  

And for those who are not familiar with these guys, John West is the model on the right in the first photo.

Beefy John West

John West was an unknown to me when I first posted his photos, but thanks to Brian we got an ID and now I've found some more photos of him.  I love when that happens!

Well Tanned

John Krivos (aka John Novak) must have spent plenty of hours outdoors in his Speedo to get that kind of a tan.  

Brian has identified John's partner in this photo.  That's John West. 

Handsome John Krivos

A well-tanned John Krivos and another unknown model on the AMG lot.  John did several films for Zenith under the name John Novak.
