Quite a Quintet

Terry gets a new set of weights, strips down and starts working out.  One by one the "guests" arrive and offer Terry their training advice.  Soon they all strip down to pouches and a wrestling brawl breaks out.  And what a melee it was! 

Threesome Wrestling

Tom Woods, Bill Mahrer and Terry Caldwell pose for a promo photo of their wrestling match at AMG in 1968.  One of the last AMG wrestling matches where they wore posing straps.

Big Brawl

From the AMG film Uninvited Guests we have this action photo of the melee that occurred once everyone arrived.  That's Bob Wilson in the center with the leopard tattoo.  John Manning is right next to him.  Terry Caldwell is on the far right, while Bob Glennon is on the back left.  Mitch Hardin (bottom left) looks like he's taking a break from the action. 

Speaking of Mitch, he did a few Wyngate & Bevins films where he looked like a fun guy to have around. 

Initiation Brawl

Here's another AMG photo showcasing the entire cast of the film The Initiation Brawl.  From the left: Terry Caldwell, Fred Michaud, Bob Glennon, Bob Wilson, Mitch Hardin and Johnny Fore.  

The blurb tells us all six of these guys stopped by the AMG lot one day looking for some work.  Now that's a day to remember! 

AMG Wrestlers

Tom Woods, Bill Mahrer and Terry Caldwell in a promo card for their wrestling match, circa 1962.  I never saw this one, but I have seen Tom in other wrestling matches.  Not only was he easy on the eyes (cute butt) he definitely had some talent on the mats.   

Bad Boys

Another photo from the AMG film Kangaroo Court released in 1961.  The two guys kneeling are Howard Frame (left) and Terry Caldwell.  Behind them is Arthur Pruett (left) and, the guy who was always quick with a smile, the lovely Shan Daymore.

Initiation Brawl Part 2

I found another photo from the AMG film Initiation Brawl released in 1961. 

Furry Bob Wilson is the center of attention in this photo.  That's Terry Caldwell ready to punch Bob in the face.  Behind Wilson is Bob Glennon.  On the left with the tattoo is Fred Michaud.  Mitch Hardin is the one who's been roped and tied.  Holding Mitch's head is the lovely Johnny Fore.  

I had a thing for Johnny.  He was always fun to watch.  I'll post more of him in the future. 

Belligerent???

Shan?  Belligerent?  Nah.  He's too cute and always looked like he was having a ball. 

Kangaroo Court

Poor Terry is the new hood in the jailhouse who tries to make friends with his cellmates, but they're a bunch of jerks.  Some roughhouse wrestling takes place and Terry "beats" them all.  Best moment?  Four guys wrestling wildly on the floor caused the cell door to fall down.  Oops!  No matter, the film must go on.  

A fun film to watch, but I had one qualm.  The handsome guard was never identified.   The credits listed only the cell mates.   On a positive note, though, Arthur Pruett's ass looked incredible in that jock strap.

Uninvited Guests

Another photo from the 1962 AMG film Uninvited Guests.  In the center of this melee (with the tattoo) is John Manning.  Next to him with the curly locks is Terry Caldwell.  John has Mitch Hardin in a scissor lock.  That's Bob Glennon in the back.  Poking his head out on the right is bad lad Bob Wilson.

The Uninvited Guests

A few stills from the classic AMG film The Uninvited Guests.  Top photo, from the left: Terry Caldwell, Bob Wilson, Bob Glennon, Mitch Hardin and John Manning.  

Terry Caldwell tries to workout with his new apparatus when a number of "guests" arrive to offer advice and criticize his lack of expertise.  John Manning plays the TV repairman who is the first to arrive.  Then telephone lineman Mitch Hardin, followed by vacuum cleaner salesman Bob Glennon.  It was a busy day at the Caldwell home. 

Last to arrive is bad lad Bob Wilson who plays a bookseller.  He offers to sell Terry an exercise book and show the guys how to get results -- but first they have to strip down.  Finally!  

The tough looking Bob Wilson did at least a dozen films for AMG.  But we were told he had trouble keeping appointments, much to Mizer's chagrin.
