Jim and Don

Jim Lassiter and Don Wiseman on the AMG lot before their match.

Mizer told us these photos were taken when the two first met and they got along fine.  A few weeks later they had a big fight when Don called Jim a sissy -- a subject Jim was very sensitive about.  Mizer said Don was a con who would stop at nothing in a fight and would think nothing of swinging a 2x4 or a tire iron at his opponent.  We never learned if the argument ever got that far.  I doubt it.  Both of these guys did a lot of work at AMG.

Mystery Solved

I recently posted the top photo seeking assistance on identifying the models.  Thanks to Brian E. (who sent me the second photo) we now have names and a title.

From the left: Bob Atkins, Shan Daymore (!!!), Don Wiseman and Al Strong in the AMG film Tattooed Sailor and the Cyclists.  Thanks, Brian!

A Little Help From My Friends

Today I have a half dozen AMG photos where I am unable to identify the models.  Your assistance would be much appreciated!

1. Leather guy is up first.  I'm guessing early to mid 1960s.

2. Yet another AMG blond I can't identify.  😖

3. I know I have several readers that appreciate this pose.

4. I'm not absolutely certain this is from AMG, but I do love a mirror shot.

5. Fuzzy butt.

6. This one sent me down the rabbit hole for a while.  Although I recognize the setting, these guys were not in the movie I thought it was.  I think the guy on the left is Bob Atkins
and the guy second from the right is Don Wiseman.  Next to Bob is Shan Daymore and Bob Smith is the guy on the right.

Name Tags!

A while back I posted a few photos from the AMG film Escape Of The Captive.  CambriaDavid identified the one guy I couldn't at the time.  He also sent these two photos that clearly identifies each model.

Thanks CambriaDavid!

Choose Your Favorite

Top photo, from the left: Lou La Venture, Jim Lassiter, Shan Daymore and Don Wiseman pose for a few photos on the AMG lot, circa 1965.   I don't think this was for a movie.

Escape of the Captive

The full cast of the AMG film Escape of the Captive.  Unfortunately, AMG did not provide a full cast list for this one.  So let me take a stab at it.  That's Bill Gelzon on the right with the flower in his hair.  The two captives (yes, there were two) are Don Wiseman (blond guy, next to Bill) and Hank Hurlbut (second from the left).  The smiling guy in the center is Eddie James.  And someday before I die, I hope to get a name for the guy on the left.

Well...I can die now.  Cambria tells us the guy on the left is Ted Szobo.  See notes below.
