Ray Robirds

I recently learned Ray passed away this past January at the age of 78.

AdamZ sent me this photo of Ray Robirds stating he thinks it's from Bruce of LA.  I think it is a Bruce photo and it's now my favorite photo of Ray.  Thank you, Adam! 

Shower Butt

I went back and forth on this one.  At first I thought it was Ray Robirds.  Now I don't think it's him.  Nothing against Ray's butt, but this one looks more umm...squeezable.  And that's a good thing.  

Photoplay thinks this is Ray, so I'm going for it.  Thanks!!

I posted this photo in a shower series a couple of years ago.  Somewhere I got the name Ray Foul for the guy with the MARGO tattoo.  Thanks to Cambria and others I now have the correct name.

Two Rays

It took a while, but Cambria came through with the ID.  The guy on the left is Ray Cornaman, sharing the shower with Ray Robirds.  In my original posting of this photograph, I thought it was a little scandalous that Mr. Cornaman was showing more than usual.  It turns out the film they did together was an early full nude one. 

There It Is!

You may have noticed I have never posted a photo of Ray Robirds butt. That's because photos of his butt are rare.

Ron also did several films for Wyngate & Bevins -- a film company that specialized in naked guys frolicking in the outdoors.  Here he is in a wheelbarrow being pushed by Jim Barckley.  That's Ray Robirds second from the left.

I have this labeled as a Bruce of LA photo.  If it is, it's my first BoLA photo of Ray.  I think its more likely to be from Pat Milo.

Scars

I'm not sure who took this photo of Ray Robirds, but it really shows Ray's abdominal scars. I'm sure there's a story behind those scars, but I've never heard it.  

I Forgot I Knew This

Page 8 of Physique Pictorial Vol. 18 No. 1 (January, 1970) gives us Ray' Robirds' AMG subjective characters.  It would be no surprise to learn Ray was an enthusiastic hustler whom Mizer gave the star of approval.  For many though, the surprise may be the fact Ray was a married man.

My Favorite Photo Of Ray

Ray Robirds at AMG.  He started at AMG during the posing pouch era and was one of the first there to go full nude.  He also posed nude for Pat Milo and did at least one film for Wyngate & Bevins.  He stayed busy.

I'm pretty sure this color photo of Mr. Robirds is from Bruce of LA.  I know the black and white photograph is definitely from Bruce.  I've seen plenty of Bruce's models in that bathroom.
