Five of the Ten

Another group photo of half the cast of the film Ten at Africa.  From the left: Scoop Helentall, Tom King, Monte Hansen, Jimmy Carroll and Gary Barnhill.  

I originally thought this was a Wyngate & Bevins film -- and it very well might be -- although the distributor is listed as AMG.  The full title is listed as Ten at Africa USA.

That's Monte Hansen second from the right and Brian says that's Jimmy Carroll on the far right.  Second from the left is Scoop Helentall (aka Ron Farr) and third from the left is Bob Gypsy.  Cambria says this from the AMG film Ten at Africa.  I don't think Mizer took them there.  😉

I did a little more research.  Third from the right (blond) is Gary Barnhill.  Tom King is fourth from the right.  Cambria says fourth from the left is Tony Hunter.

Bob Gypsy and Scoop Helentall by AMG.  Brian sent me this photo thereby removing all doubt on Scoop's last name. 

I don't think they did a film together, though.

Wyngate & Bevins

A set of photos by Wyngate & Bevins from the late 1960s.  While W&B made movies,  they also sold photos of their models whether or not they were from a movie.  I think these photos are a mix of both scenarios and many of them are from the film Ramona. 

The problem is W&B rarely identified the models.  Fortunately many of the models also did work with AMG and fans of that studio should be able to put names to the faces and other body parts.  Well, maybe not all of the body parts.  For many of the AMG models this may have been the first time their fans got to see them without a posting pouch. 

First up is Jim Horn (left) and Brian Idol.

Sam Hunter on the left and Brian Idol riding an unknown model on the right.  The guy hanging onto Sam is Joe Iannini.  

Brian comes through again!  This is Scoop Helentall. 

That's Monte Hansen in the back. Rick Lane helped identify the guy in front as Jimmy Carroll. 

Bob Jackson is second from the left.  The always helpful Brian E. correctly identified the guy third from the left as Tommy Evans and the guy on the right is Butch Umbenhauer.  Good eye!

Classic Posers Part 1 of 2

Today I'm posting something a little different that most posts.  Here we have a collection of AMG photos (mostly from the posing pouch era) where I have no ID on any of these handsome lads  Maybe one or more of my followers will recognize a few.  

First up is a lovely blond with a bulge you can't miss.  

Maybe it's me, but this guy really makes me think of Liberace.  

I've seen this guy in the past, but I never got a name.  For a clue, note the "Dick" tattoo.  

I'm not sure this is even an AMG photo. To me, it's looks more like a Bruce photo, but let's see if anyone recognizes this classic beauty.  Ricklane did.  That's Miles Conley.
