Mountain Men

I've posted a few photos of this handsome group of men over the years and speculated they might be from Wyngate & Bevins.  Brace yourself...I was wrong. 😮

The photos are from AMG and the session was done on Mount Mizer, the makeshift pile of fake rocks on Mizer's rooftop.  From the left we have Robert Chips, Troy Shannon, Ted Hudson and Jay Burton.  Normally, most of my attention would go to Mr. Hudson, but I find myself taking furtive glances at Mr. Chips.  Goodbye Hello, Mr. Chips!

As promised, here are four more photos of the group I posted yesterday thinking they were posing for Wyngate & Bevins, although I suspected they might be AMG.  

Brian sent these photos, including the one with name tags.  It turns out I've posted this group in the past.  Check the labels.

I recognize all four of these models from various Wyngate & Bevins photos I've seen over the years.  Most likely this is from a W&B film, although it looks like it could have been taken on the AMG rooftop. 

It turns out I have posted these guys in the past.  Thanks to Brian for reminding me and he also sent me a few more photos.  I'll post them tomorrow.

Fab Four

Jay Burton, Troy Shannon, Rock Hudson and Robert Chips hold up name cards on the AMG lot.  I don't think this is from a film. 

Rock Hudson (no, not that one) usually went by Ted Hudson and I have posted other photos of him.  I know he did several films for AMG.
