Mystery Solved!

The other day I posted a photo of John Krivos in the AMG outdoor bathtub with an unknown blond washing his arm.  Thanks to CinemaCapMan we now have a name!  

CinemaCapMan sent me the following photos of John and Al Agor.  As confirmation, he included the contact sheet that clearly gives us Al's name.  Honestly, when I first saw the photos I thought "That's not Al!" and then I saw the top photo and realized it sure was. 

Although Krivos did a few films for Mizer (and others) I don't think these photos are from a film.  Sadly, I don't think Al did any film work.

Popular AMG model John Krivos was also called John Novak at other studios. These photos were identified as Novak, but not attributed to any studio.

John Krivos did a lot of work at AMG, but he kept the privates private.  But John wasn't exclusive to AMG.  I know he posed for Milo and Bruce, but I don't think the photos below are from either of them.

John Krivos was a popular model who did a few films for AMG around 1960.  Here he is in a scene from the Zenith film Snow Body where he was called John Novak.  I believe this was John's very first film.

Men In Chains

Part of the cast of the AMG epic saga Slave Market released in 1960.  From the left: Arley Bastin, Joe Leitel, John Krivos and Eddie Stevens. In one of the AMG brochures, Mizer told us Joe stood 6ft 1in tall which makes me wonder just how tall Arley was. 

This film was heavily promoted in nearly all of the Physique Pictorial issues in the 1960s -- right up to the onset of full nudes. 

A Love Story

The cast (and one extra) of the AMG film Gift for Demitrius released in 1959. 

John Krivos (fake beard) plays the King and Boris Demitroff is his son, Demitrius. The King gives Demitrius a ring for his birthday.  Later on, Demitrius gives the ring to his slave boy Jerry (front, right) as a token of his love. When the King sees Jerry wearing the ring he becomes filled with rage and raises his whip to strike the young slave. But Demitrius steps between them to protect the slave he loves. The King gets so angry he banishes them both from the Kingdom. As the young men walk away, the King begins to weep.  I'm not crying!  You're crying!  

I don't know who the hunk is on the left, or even why he's in the photo. 

Measuring Up
