Joe Cyr lifts Jim Giussi at AMG.  This photo was probably taken during the filming of Eight Athletes.

Hand Holding

Jim Giussi (left) and Duke Colter.  I don't think this is from a film.  Duke also posed for Pat Milo.

Joe & Jim

Joe Napoli (left) and Jim Giussi from Bruce of LA.

I think this is Jim's first time posing fully nude.  It looks like he enjoyed himself.

Spell Check

I don't know who took this photo of AMG model Jim Giussi.   I think someone made a typo error with his name.

Fun Pair

Jim Giussi (top photo, left) and Duke Coulter pose for the AMG lens.  I don't think this is from a film.  Jim's showing a great tan in these photos.

Rumble!

A few more photos of Bill Deming (left) and Jim Echols at their AMG wrestling match in 1965.  In the last two photos, the guy lying on his stomach is Jim Giussi.

Well Look At That!

Another photo of Jim Giussi at full mast.

Cambria confirmed for me the photos are from Bruce of LA.

Well Slap Me With A Feather!

First things first.  I think this is AMG model Jim Giussi.

Jim was one of the AMG models who first started with posing pouches and then moved on to full nude.  But I doubt this photo is from AMG.  Whoever the photographer was, he gave us more of Jim than I ever expected.  Much more!

If I had to guess, I would say Bruce of LA.

Compact Muscle

Jim Giussi (left) and Joe Napoli by Mike Scott.

Jim was 5ft 3in and weighed 120lbs.  Joe was 5ft 4in and weighed 135 lbs.  Both guys originally started in the posing pouch era.

A Little Help From My Friends

Today I have a half dozen AMG photos where I am unable to identify the models.  Your assistance would be much appreciated!

1. Leather guy is up first.  I'm guessing early to mid 1960s.

2. Yet another AMG blond I can't identify.  😖

3. I know I have several readers that appreciate this pose.

4. I'm not absolutely certain this is from AMG, but I do love a mirror shot.

5. Fuzzy butt.

6. This one sent me down the rabbit hole for a while.  Although I recognize the setting, these guys were not in the movie I thought it was.  I think the guy on the left is Bob Atkins
and the guy second from the right is Don Wiseman.  Next to Bob is Shan Daymore and Bob Smith is the guy on the right.

Eight Is Not Enough

From the Wyngate & Bevins film Eight Athletes released in 1967.

The guys take a road trip to the desert and then wind up at the AMG pool.  On the far left is Jim Giussi.  The tall guy next to him is Jim Barckley.  That's Jerry Sullivan's butt in the center and next to him is Joe Iannini.  The guy on the far right is Tom Smith.

Call Me Ishmael

My friend st VMM will recognize this photo because I swiped it from his site.

That's Jim Giussi on the left and the tall guy is my latest obsession. I've been searching for this guy's name for quite some time.  I feel like that sailor in Moby Dick

My New Obsession -- UPDATED

I'm updating this post because I finally figured out the name of Bachelor No. 6.  That's Joe Iannini.  I knew I had posted photos of him previously.  In one of the photos, he's holding his name plate.  Confirmed!

Still looking for 2 and 9.

As you know, I've been trying to get names for the full cast of the AMG and W&B film Eight Athletes.  Based on a few notes I've received, I think I should make a post and give you the names of the guys I know and point out which guys are still on my unknown list.

From the left:

1. Jim Barckley - I like the dangling cigarette.

2. Unknown - Joe Cyr -- see comments.

3. Jim Giussi - I've posted other photos of this guy, albeit with shorter hair.

4. Tom Smith - The hairy chest and his tattoos helped me out.

5. Jerry Sullivan - Looking a little older here...but still hot.

6. Joe Iannini - OK, I found a pic of this guy holding a name plate.

7. Sam Hunter - He did several W&B films.

8. Unknown - This guy has proven to be a real challenge.

Add your comments if you want to help me out.

Roman Celebration

Thanks to CambriaDavid I now have photos from the AMG film Roman Bacchanal released in 1973.  Good thing we have name plates for this one because I don't recognize most of the models.

As far as I can tell this film was never promoted in any of the PP magazines.  Although it was not released until 1973 it was actually filmed in the mid 1960s.

There's some fine looking young men in these photos whom I've never posted on this blog.  For some of them, this was their only work at AMG.

Captured By The Law

From the left: Jim Giussi, John Adams, Pat White and Wayne Byrd in a still from the AMG film Angelic Hood.  Jim plays a hood who is captured by three officers.  So why are the officers wearing stripes?

This is my first photo of Mr. Byrd.  Bruce of LA did a really nice photo session with him that I need to post for your appreciation.

More of Joe & Jim -- UPDATED

Joe Napoli (left) is one of my favorite AMGs models from the mid to late 1960s.  He was another one who first posed with a pouch and then went "au naturel".  I still haven't identified his partner (James?) but maybe this post will jar someone's memory.

Update: See Rick's comments.  The unknown model is Jim Giussi and you'll find other pics of him on this blog.   I always get stuck on Jim's name.
