Plain or Striped?

Guido says this is Johnny Virgin (left) and Jerry Byron Mayberry.  Brian agrees.  I must say, I wouldn't have guessed those names even even if you spotted me a vowel.  Good job, guys!

Like a Virgil

Johnny Virgin did a large amount of work at AMG in the early 1960s.  Here he is for Pat Milo who called him Jack Virgil.

Bob & ???

I think that's Bob Jackson in the rear (so to speak) but I don't recognize the set or his partner.  I would like to see more of his partner.  That butt looks promising.

Guido says this is from the movie Psychiatrist & the Hood.  This is my first photo from that movie.  Bob's partner is Johnny Virgin.  Johnny played the hood.  Quelle surprise!

This is my first photo from that movie.

Indian Joe

Joe Kiser is the Indian with Johnny Virgin and Johnny Porter as the cowboys in the AMG film Inquisitive Indian.

You've heard of "See no evil...speak no evil?  This is "Show no crotch."

Virgin & Jackson

Johnny Virgin (left) and Bob Jackson show us some cheek.  Hmmm...tough choice.

Gloves On and Off

Johnny Virgin (aka Jack Virgil) at AMG.  Mizer may have said this guy was difficult to work with, but he used him frequently.  I guess you do take the good with the bad.

Like A Virgil

Johnny Virgin, aka Jack Virgil by unknown.  I like this photograph.

Johnny Virgin / Jack Virgil

Johnny Virgin did at least 10 films for AMG in the early 60s. He also posed several times for Pat Milo as Jack Virgil.

Let's take a look at some GIFs showing Johnny in action.

Dino Ferzanno pulls a pistol on the gum chewing Johnny at the start of their wrestling match. This might be Johnny's first time at AMG.

Johnny strips down after knocking out Bob Jackson in The Psychiatrist & The Hood. This is not the more prolific Bob Jackson we've seen many times.

From the AMG film Hit Don't Run. Two hoods come to blows after a car accident. I like the car behind him.

Mizer had mixed feelings about this guy.  One the one hand he used him frequently, but on multiple occasions he said Johnny was a "difficult" model.

Oh We've Got Trouble...

That's Johnny Virgin on the left. If it is, he looks great in this photo.

Johnny posed as Jack Virgil for Milo.

RugbyBro confirmed that it is indeed Johnny.  Henry says the other model is Gary Hammock.

More Costume Drama

Another photo from the AMG film Inquisitive Indian.  The Indian was played by Joe Kiser and that's Johnny Porter underneath him -- so to speak.  On the bed is Johnny Virgin.

Joe and Johnny were two of the busiest AMG models in the mid-1960s.

Introducing Johnny Virgin

Johnny Virgin and Bob Jackson were two models who stayed busy at AMG in the early 1960s.  Bob Mizer told us Johnny could be a real pain in the ass in front of a camera.  Apparently he had a lazy streak in him.

Jack Virgil

Jack is better known for his work with AMG as Johnny Virgin.

More Cowboys & Indians

Joe Kiser is the Indian who runs into two cowboys -- Johnny Virgin and Johnny Porter in the AMG film Inquisitive Indian.  Of course the two Johnnys immediately dislike him.  A fight breaks out and then they become friends.  The End.

This was Porter's only film at AMG.  Kiser and Virgin stayed busy at the studio in the mid-1960s.  This film was promoted In one of the Physique Pictorial issues and included a photo of these guys with their subjective analysis characters.

According to the codes, Johnny Virgin had an intense dislike for work and could be a problem child on the set.  Joe Kiser had a temper and could be physically dangerous.  As for Mr. Porter, Mizer said the guy was too laid back and lacked enthusiasm.
