I Guess Tony Lost The Wrestling Match

Monte & Tony (Part 1 of 2)

Tony Gallo (striped pouch) and Monte Hansen pose before the start of their energetic wrestling match at AMG.  Monte dominated Tony on the mats, but I don't think Tony minded that at all.  

For the record, Monte did not stuff an eggplant in his pouch.  That was all Monte.

More of Monte Hansen and Tony Gallo on the mats at AMG.  This film was released in 1966, but was filmed in 1962 when Monte was nineteen years old.  

Although he looks like he's had better days on the mat, Tony was all smiles in the shower with Monte.  

After the Match

Monte Hansen (left) and Tony Gallo clean up in the AMG shower after their spirited wrestling match in 1966.  The guys were evenly matched and the action was fun to watch.  

As far as I know, this was Tony's only appearance at AMG.
