Rock On!

I saw this film a few decades ago and there's nothing really special about it besides Brian's new hair style. In the film, Billy fake plays a guitar and sings a song on stage. There was no sound, so for all I know he could have been just moving his lips. Then Brian takes the stage and he fake plays a guitar (it was very obvious) while moving his lips. Then the two performers ~~sing~~ mouth a duet on stage. If you can make it to the end of this film (a Herculean task) you'll be rewarded with seeing the two guys kiss during the fade out.

I laughed. I cried. It was a part of me.

Wyngate & Bevins

A set of photos by Wyngate & Bevins from the late 1960s. While W&B made movies, they also sold photos of their models whether or not they were from a movie. I think these photos are a mix of both scenarios and many of them are from the film Ramona.

The problem is W&B rarely identified the models. Fortunately many of the models also did work with AMG and fans of that studio should be able to put names to the faces and other body parts. Well, maybe not all of the body parts. For many of the AMG models this may have been the first time their fans got to see them without a posting pouch.

First up is Jim Horn (left) and Brian Idol.

That's Monte Hansen in the back. Rick Lane helped identify the guy in front as Jimmy Carroll.

Bob Jackson is second from the left. The always helpful Brian E. correctly identified the guy third from the left as Tommy Evans and the guy on the right is Butch Umbenhauer. Good eye!
