Good Buddies

David O'Boyle stands above Robert Bartholomea after their wrestling match in the 1969 AMG film Gladiator's Slave.  The film was promoted at least once a year in Physique Pictorial through 1977!  It must have been a good seller. 

According to Mizer the guys became close friends and travelled the country hopping freight trains.  I read somewhere that David's dance card was always filled whenever he was back in LA.

Mizer tells us David O'Boyle was Robert's "close companion".  The two guys starred in Gladiators Slave which I've never seen. I feel like I have, though.  That film was promoted in PP and other mags throughout most of the 1970s.
