I got this post wrong way back in 2019. I thought it was from the AMG film Fishermen and the Hoods. It's not. I did correctly identify the two guys in the pool as Lou La Venture and Jim Lassiter. The two guys with caps are the Demitroff brothers, Boris and Marcus.
Brian got the names, CinemaCapMan clarified the information. Guido says the film was called On The Waterfront. Thanks guys!
I'm not sure whether they've used aliases or that the names are incorrect, but I believe that's Boris Demitroff (left) and (presumably his brother) Marcus Demitroff on his right (as the two "hoodlums").
ReplyDeleteI'll second verify that, with an exception...the two in the pool are the hoods, LaVenture and Lassiter. The two outside the pool are the fishermen...the Demitroff brothers. I have many other photos from this set of all of them.
ReplyDeleteThe name of the film is "On the Waterfront" - Grecian Guild Vol. 16, page 42. In PP Vol 12 No. 4 it is noted that Lassiter played in this film with the Demitroff brothers.
