Although it was nearly a month ago, today we learned the actor Jan Michael Vincent died in Asheville, NC on 10 February.
Studio photo of JMV for the movie Big Wednesday (John Milius, 1978) a story of some aging surfers in the 1960s waiting for the big wave and realizing the world is more complex than hanging of a beach and chasing girls. Worth a watch if you can find it.
For many of us though, JMV will always be Buster Lane in Buster and Billie (Daniel Petrie, 1974) one of the first Hollywood actors to do a full frontal nude scene in a major studio movie.
