Sonny Landham -- Part 1 of 4

If the name Sonny Landham rings a bell, you probably saw a couple of his Hollywood movies.  Sonny got his big break playing a Native American called Billy Bear in the hit movie 48 HRS (Walter Hill, 1982).  He also played a Native American named Billy in the high action movie Predator (John McTeirnan, 1987).  

But Sonny's first movie was actually Cyclist & the Indian by AMG in 1968 and the photo below is from that film.  Sonny played the Indian and J.D. Gregg played the cyclist.  In the promo for this film Mizer told us Sonny was twenty-six years old and had Cherokee heritage.  I believe this was his only work at AMG.
