Buster Crabbe in a publicity photo for the movie King of Jungle where he played Kaspa the Lion Man. Basically, it was a homage ripoff of the popular Tarzan movies. The year after this movie was released he starred in his first Tarzan movie -- Tarzan the Fearless in 1933. The biggest buzz on that movie was Buster's revealing loincloth.
