I was looking at some photos in my archive folders when these two photos caught my eye. They weren't labeled, but I recognized that tattoo immediately. That's AMG model Charlie Ruff. He looks younger than other photos I've seen of him, but that tattoo is the tell.
Mizer said Charlie posed for other photographers, but I've never seen him anywhere but AMG.
"The Babco Men" (misspelled on front cover) 1978 magazine pub by House One of California 6045 Vineland Ave, North Hollywood 91606 has 5 pages of Charlie Ruff pics (pp 20-24) - comments by Bobco about Charlie include that he was photographed over a period of time during a stint in the Marines - other Bobco models in the magazine include John Powrrs. Karl David, Larry Botdeaux, Ross Judd,Jr. Buck Langdon, Deak Rivers and a make out kissing session with Ace Brandon and Tico Patterson
