Walter Fife by AMG. Once source states this guy was one of the first to pose for Bob Mizer and dated this photo to sometime in 1947.
This model was misidentified in some AMG publication. Photoplay gave me the correct name. Roughly four years ago I posted a Spartan photo of him with a smooth chest. Click the label.
I have his name as Walter Fife, the name given to him on page 6 of an issue of Physique Pictorial (I do not know which issue). It also cites an AMG catalogue photo no: ZJ200 in catalogue ZJ13 pg 5 ten cents (!) The tattoo on his left upper-arm is unmistakable.

ReplyDeleteI think the problem is that he and Feniello were switched in the 1000 Model Directory captions. Jerry Feniello is comparatively slight, while Fife has a stocky build.
