Introducing Larry Carr

Considering all the work he did for AMG, I'm surprised this is my first photo of the impressive Larry Carr.  I intend to rectify that in the near future.

Larry was photographed on the estate that was used in the classic film Sunset Blvd. (Billy Wilder, 1950).

  1. His groin looks clipped or shaven, don't you think?

  2. He was old school manscaped like most of the bodybuilders and nude models of the 40's and 50's. His gym toned muscles and well groomed hair and body didn't survive the 60's. Actually, most of my favorite nude models from the 40's and 50's like Larry Carr, Dale Curry, and Keith Stephens stopped modeling by 1954.

  3. This is not the manse used in Sunset Boulevard, it is the Sol Wurtzel estate in Bel Air which was owned by a psychic who let physique photographers use the grounds in exchange for free physique photos.
Ed Fury was filmed romping around its pool in Day of Fury by Apollo Films/Richard Fontaine. -Rj
