Thanks so much for posting these. I've several photographs saved from the session with Sam Hunter, didn't realize it was by AMG though. God, I love this man, he's sooooo handsome.
James IV, FYI- regarding the house. Photo taken at the Wurtzler estate in Bel-Air. It was owned by the clarevoyant Anthony Norvell in the late 40s to mid 50s. Mr Norvell allowed Mizer to use the estate grounds and pool to photograph models in exchange for photo-sets. The grounds, pool and house can be seen in photos Mizer took of Hank Evans, Larry Carr, Bob McCune, Dick Dubois and this set with Stephan and Hunter. The house was not used in Sunset Boulevard. The house for the film was a home in Hancock Park, the William Jenkins estate, that at the time the film was made was owned by J.Paul Gettys ex-wife. The pool is a clue, the Sunset Boulevard pool is rectangular with straight edges, the Wurtzler pool, used by Mizer, has curved scalloped edges. -Rj inthe IE
-Beau Mec a Deauville
*OsloSson

ReplyDeleteNo problem! If I recall correctly, the photo with both guys was taken at the same estate that was used to film Sunset Blvd. (Billy Wilder, 1950).
DeleteHe is indeed sooooo handsome, one of the best! Thank you James.
DeleteTerrific bodies on both males. And they are handsome!
