I cleaned out one of my closets the other day and found a box filled with what we call "junk". Going through the box I found eleven data CDs (remember them?) and all of them were marked "Review".
Well...I reviewed them. On the CDs are hundreds of photos I collected on the net over the years. My plan at the time I made these CDs was to organize the photos and then label them for my permanent collection. Somehow that plan got away from me. :)
The photos fall into several categories. They include AMG models, gay porn stars, Playgirl models, vintage amateur shots and a healthy supply of what I call "Vintage Unknowns But Not Unappreciated".
So now I have a new plan. It's the same as the old plan with an added step. I'm going to catalogue them, then post many of them to this blog. Along the way I will seek assistance in identifying some of the models. I plan to keep with the mission of this blog -- posting Men From Back Then -- and I will continue to avoid posting any explicit photos.
So below are a few photos from the CDs. This should give you a good idea of what's coming in the future.

ReplyDeleteGreat vintage photos, looking forwards to future posts, sounds like there's going to be quite a few to see. Understand you're not posting explicit ones, however......maybe you can develop an easy guide to put alongside their name or description. Eg. xx = been photographed btm, or mm = been photographed top. This would be great, especially for the earlier photos.

ReplyDeleteThe unknown guy is from a former Tumblr called The Invisible Man. It was a photographer who just asked guys passing by to pose for him. Some he told a little story about them. Though he never gave names. I have sever al of his pics.

DeleteWonderful group of hot photos. Like them all. The one you think is Chris Dean is Chris Dean. Remember it from a film and even the robe he is wearing but can't remember the title. Think it's a great idea for a project. Would love to see it. I'd had plans to organize all the photos I burned to those CDs also. So glad you are getting to yours.
