Dave Martin gave a list to Stanford University of his model collection and Gene Eberle was not included. Plus Martin's models did not wear Posing Pouches usually. The California Online records do indicate that Gene Eberle was a Spartan Studios model and have several photos in their collection. Gene Eberle probably did pose for Bob Mizer also.
The pose is lively, for want of abetter word. Too bad he wasn't naked.
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt that this was a Dave Martin photo. Gene Eberle posed for Spartan Studios.
ReplyDeleteBased on that pouch, I'm leaning toward AMG. Hmmmm.

ReplyDeleteGene Eberle was featured in the first AMG album and went on to appear in two solo album/catalogues, in 1946 and 1948.
