Shan Daymore did several films and photo shoots for AMG back in the early 1960s. He appeared in a half dozen or so issues of Physique Pictorial promoting his work. For a while I thought he was an AMG exclusive, but he did star in one film for Zenith with the wordy title The Family Jewels South of the Border. The plot involved the cast searching for the elusive "golden groin cloth". You read that correctly. Sorry to say, I've never seen it.
Shan was easy to like. Yeah, he had a nice build, great hair and a firm butt, but it was that smile that would get me every time. He was a real ham in his films, often over-acting enough to remind you of Joyce DeWitt of Three's Company. And, although the films he did were all silent ones, his hearty laugh was still contagious.
