Dixon at Old Reliable. He showed up at OR some 30 years ago and David Hurles was smitten. Dixon was 22 years old, 6ft 2in tall and a solid 180 lbs. He came by OR two or three more times and I know I've seen him in a video from another studio. I just can't recall if he worked alone.
David Hurles photographed many of his models from this angle. He literally laid on the floor (and his back) to get this perspective. I like it.
It does emphasize maleness in a "front and center" manner. That's what it's all about, isn't it?
