Make Room For Johnny

Johnny Raines and Francis Firorillo In the AMG film Room For One More in 1969.  I think this is the film Mizer told us was stolen before its release.

  1. You are correct that "Room for One More" was stolen from AMG and never released. There was a remake in 1973 called "No Room for a Sailor" with Mike Stearn and Mark Jordon. It was supposed to have been in 2 parts but it is not clear if it ever was released. Was there a curse or bad luck on this venture? Bob Mizer noted the tragic loss of Jordan in 1990 in the final issue of Physique Pictorial but gave no date. Jordon died from an ARC flash.

    1. Johnny was 18 years old and active in the US Navy when he stopped by AMG in 1969. That's probably his own personal uniform.

  3. JOHNNY RAINES posed for Bob Mizer at AMG on August 17 &18, 1968. Raines was brought to AMG by a long time friend of Bob Mizer's named Jules Maitland. Maitland was an LA actor and producer who frequently brought potential models to AMG. Maitland was 46 and Raines was 18. How they came to know each other is a mystery. The BMF records indicate that JOHNNY wore his actual Navy uniform.
