In David Bret's bio of Rock, he wrote that when the star was, " . . . dating a man called Bob Preble, they lived in house with only one bedroom and one bed." Mr. Bret was honest when he had doubts about a story in his book, and he seems to have had none about this one. Bob Preble was a contract player whose movie career never really took off. He did, however, remain a lifelong friend of Rock.
