TBD

Just one post today, but man it's a big one!  (Where have I heard that before?)

Today I'm posting a large group of photos that were thrown into my unofficial "To Be Determined" folder that I have not been able to...well, determine.  There's a nice mix of models in this post, so pour yourself another cup of coffee (or scotch) and see if you can be the next contestant on Name That Model.  We double points if you can identify the photographer.

We start with a handsome devil who I'm sure will check off a few boxes out there.  If it helps, vintage_fan thinks this is from Earl Forbes.

He looks familiar. I have the same photo in black and white.

Handsome guy.

Possibly a Pat Milo photo.

Smoking hot.

Brian says this is Bob Miller.

If this was his first
time, he's a natural in front of the camera.

Brian says this is Dick Fernley whom I've posted before. This Is dated Sept 1948!!

Ben Markley. Thanks Brian!

At first I thought AMG. But now I think it's some other photographer.

Dennis Lyster, aka Harv.  Brian got the name.

Buck Youngblood by Western Photography Guild.  Thanks vintage_fan_1952.

It was that night the frat house learned Steve had a hoodie.

I'm going to think of his name soon. You may want to take a seat.

Jim Warren by Dave Martin. Thanks BB.

A Bruce King model who kind of looks like a young Bruce Springsteen.

I think Colt is a good guess here.  RJ tells us this is Joey Arena.

"What's the password?"

    1. B.B. is correct that #15 is JIM WARREN by Dave Martin. JIM WARREN was a Student and an Athlete at the University of California Berkely in 1953 when he posed for Dave Martin.!! JIM liked to pose Nude and did it often for Artists in San Francisco doing Male Nude Paintings.!! Martin wrote that JIM was a Model in his Notecards.!

  5. Well, James, you know I love these challenges, so here we go...

#6 Mack Truck - Bob Miller
#8 Pouch - I reckon that's gotta be Dick Fenley Wow! Looking at another photo of Mr. Fenley in my collection, there's the same dark furniture that you're drawn to and... wait for it, that photo is attributed to none other than Minor White and dated 17 Sep 1948. I'll send that little gem on over to you James.

#9 Nice sack - Ben Markley - I'm happy to finally have identified this photo of him that I've seen before

#12 elephant in the room -Dennis Lyster - several other aliases used, one of which was "Elasco" (!), also Dennis Lassiter & "Harv". He's an absolute fave and looks like he could have inspired many of Tom of Finland's square-jawed characters
#15 I only have a first name of "Brad"
