  1. Bob Mizer's Mother passed away in October 1964. ED TAYLOR met Bob in 1965 after getting honorably discharged from the Marines. Ed and Bob Mizer became roommates in 1965 and he lived with Bob more than 25 years until Bob Mizer died. ED did all the menial work but he and Bob Mizer were very close even though they would fly into rages at each other. This was never touched upon in the film "BEEFCAKE".

  2. In addition to Cambria's comment, Ed Taylor was in charge of processing all the videotape orders (he probably managed all the film orders prior to Mizer adopting VHS.) Ed also was responsible for selecting and playing music (from Mizer's LP collection) to serve as a soundtrack during Bob weekly screenings of new work. Ed lived in the downstairs of the adjacent home 1836 W. 11th Street (Art Reynolds who did printing and Wayne Stanley who did legal shared the upstairs) during the 1980s. Mizer purchased this home sometime in the late 1950s/early 1960s, and Bob Carr ran BOBCO from this property for a few years.
