In honor of the coronation of His Majesty, King Charles III, let's take a trip across the pond.
Spencer Churchill was a popular British bodybuilder in the 1950s. He appeared in many bodybuilder magazines back then and parlayed that into a pro wrestling career in the 1960s. He also appeared in a few films and acted as stuntman in a few other ones.
I believe the top photo is from Lon of New York (dba Dominique of London). (See RJs comment.). I have no attribution for the photo of Spencer in his wrestling gear. I am loving those thighs, though.

Very nice body. I like the clear shot of his uncircumcised penis. And you nailed it re: those thighs, James!
ReplyDeleteI'm certain there was a studio called Lon of London back in the day.
ReplyDeleteThanks John! See next comment.
DeleteLon of London was William Domenique aka Domenique of London, who photographed British bodybuilders at a London Studio for Lon Hanagan of New York. It was a business partnership between them, so Lon of NY could get a foothold in the European physique market. Eventually the whole arrangement fell apart due to Domenique's malfeance. (customer complaints and basically using Lon) - Rj
ReplyDeleteThat's it! Thanks!
