This is Mike Richardson aka Ben Dover (*groan*) he also posed with Rod Grande (geddit?, *sigh*). All up I have 11 solo photos of Mike and 2 of him with Mr Grande.
MIKE RICHARDSON posed for Neil Edwards in Philadelphia in 1966. Neil Edwards was a active Physique Photographer in Philly from 1964 until 1969. Edwards was raided by the Philadelphia District Attorney and Police in 1969 who confiscated all his equipment and photos. Edwards was not arrested, nor was he ever charged for a crime. However, he petitioned for over a year for the return of his equipment. At one point, he was told the equipment had been lost, and eventually he was told that the raid never took place. This loss ruined Edwards financially, forcing him to go on public welfare, and depressed him emotionally, eventually resulting in a nervous breakdown that saw him committed. Edwards' photographic output ceased abruptly in 1969. Edwards never took up professional photography again. Edwards died in 2003.
