1947

"Bob" Clarke by unknown.  I can't say he was well-known, but he did hand out autographed photos.  I assume 47 is for the year.

  1. Bob Clarke was a hand balancer and acrobat in the late 40's to mid 50's when such acts were popular in nightclubs in their heyday. -Rj

    1. RJ where can you find a decent write up of this talented Man? I am fascinated to read about him?

    2. As I recall Mr Clarke did hand balancing with a guy named Redpath, who did a similar hand balancing act with bodybuilder Bert Goodrich. Clarke at one time did an adagio act and hand balancing in nightclubs and worked as an acrobat in small circuses and at carnivals. The photo is engraved to Renald of Rudy and Renald a long-forgotten nightclub act. The blog was one of those where you can click onto other blogs and for the life of me, I cannot recall which blog I clicked on. I think it was a blog either about carnivals or nightclub history. -Rj

    3. That explains who Renauld was. And Bert Goodrich was Mr. America 1939. I can not find anything about Bob Clarke sadly.

  3. Bob Clarke est magnifique !
Clarke attire les yeux avec son beau visage, son physique bien formé et son torse en V. Posé pour montrer physique et sa force, Clarke est une vision de la beauté masculine.
