The other day I posted a photo of John Krivos in the AMG outdoor bathtub with an unknown blond washing his arm. Thanks to CinemaCapMan we now have a name!
CinemaCapMan sent me the following photos of John and Al Agor. As confirmation, he included the contact sheet that clearly gives us Al's name. Honestly, when I first saw the photos I thought "That's not Al!" and then I saw the top photo and realized it sure was.
Although Krivos did a few films for Mizer (and others) I don't think these photos are from a film. Sadly, I don't think Al did any film work.
Special thanks to CinemaCapMan for solving the mystery.

Further to my 'argument' regarding the ID of the guy washing John's arm, look at the difference in the hairstyles of the guys in photos 6 and 7 that CinemaCapMan suggested is Al Agor. In the same shoot the guy in photo 7 (who I agree is Al Agor) and the man in photo 6 (which you're positing is also Al) have different hair styles and length - especially the coif of the guy in photo 6, it's much wavier and 'thicker' than that in photo 7.
ReplyDeleteFurther, look at the faux tiles (possibly linoleum) on the bath in photos 2 to 6 - with the man I think ISN'T Al Agor and then look at the supposedly same bath (as it's meant to be the same photo shoot - in the first photo) there are no faux tiles. Likewise, in the 1st photo, there is a striped cloth draped under the washbasin. In the other photos it has the same faux tiles sheet. I can't see them changing these props between shoots.
ReplyDeleteLikely these are from two similar photo shoots from which the different photos have been mistakenly tagged as being the same shoot...
ReplyDelete...and duh his hair is different (or so it seems) because his hair is WET in photo 7.
The 1si and 7th photos are definitely the same guy with Krivos, because one thing I do for comparison ID is comparing facial features, and the other guy's earlobes are identical. The way the set is dressed, particularly what the bottom of the tub is like is the same, so I'd say those two photos are from the same shoot.
NOW...upon closer scrutiny...I can see the earlobes of the guy in the 1st and 7th photos ARE different than the guy in the other photos. His lower earlobes ARE attached to his head, and the guys in the other photos has hanging earlobes...so I may very well be wrong about who the guy is in photos 2-6. My bad if I didn't examine those pics that closely. Thing is...WHO is the guy in 2-6?
The Man in 2-6 was identified as "Schaer" which presumably was his last name. The BMF does not have a Model Card for that Model. Guido mentioned Schaer in a comment he posted yesterday. 2-6 is not Al Agor so hopefully James will correct this post.
ReplyDelete"Schaer" what? Did Guido give the guy's first name? Where is Guido's comment, because I can't find it, even online. Need more info, like Schaer's first name, if Guido gave it.
ReplyDeleteObviously two different men with Krivos.
ReplyDeleteGuido only had the last name in his post.
Schaer, could it be Schaeffer ? Bob Mizer mis-spelled names at times in his publications. The intrigue continues. -Rj
Guido sent the Catalog Page to James by email today. The Page identifies models who have appeared with JOHN KRIVOS. "SCHAER" matches the model in photos 2-6 exactly. There also is an "AGOR" photo on the Catalog page that matchs photos 1 and 7. Clearly the page indicates these were 2 different men with Krivos. Hopefully James can share the Catalog Page on here with everyone. I do not have any first Name for SCHAER and Guidos comment got deleted when James reposted this from yesterday.
