Just to add to the confusion, I have magazine pages (not somebody's later notes) with photos of Jim Alexander listed by Apollo Studios and Apollo Productions. I also have this one, and like yours, it says Apollo I. I wonder if the various versions were to avoid trademark infringement, not the some of these photographers were too concerned about that. You gotta figure a name like Apollo would have been jumped on early and often in the gay picture trade.

Apollo was one of several marques used by Richard Fontaine, with two others being Zenith and the better known R.A. Enterprises.
