Denny Denfield's interest was sparked during his wartime service in the South Pacific when he witnessed marines strip and jump into a tropical stream. This moment crystallized a conscious desire to record the fleeting beauty of manhood. Denfield began to experiment with cameras almost as soon as returned from the War as a civilian. Some of his models were not even paid. His photographic outings to the beach and mountains (with beer and camera) were infamous in their day. Denfield was another Photographer who quit physique photography after the 1968 legalization of male nudity by the Supreme Court.
Grainy image of a photo reproduced in a magazine. An actual photo would have a sharper image, especially from a talented photographer like Denfield of San Francisco. :)
Kind of grainy, but we can see what's interesting and important.
