I would just caution that this book, while a fabulous resource, is less reliable on the dates and the order in which things were published. It shows its narrative in the images, but 1952 (say) is pretty malleable.
AMG, a legacy left by Bob Mizer. Just think, he started as a student at Polytech High School in Los Angeles editing and writing for their school newspaper, winning awards during his tenure. Starting from that experience, his humanist ideals, and working for Ko'Vert's physique studio paved the way for AMG in 1946 and his own publication Physique Pictorial in 1951. Bob Mizer, a talented person in many ways. -Rj
